News: Church services

Coaley Church is in Tier 4 of the covid restrictions. Under the current government rules the church is able to stay open for servcies provided certain measures are put in place. These include the wearing of face masks, hand sanitiser in entry, a socailly distanced congregation, a one way system and only the wafer distributed at communion. For the service on 3rd January the churchwardens have decided to hold a service as time was short and a visiting priest had been arranged. A meeting of the churchwardens with comments from the congregation will be held week beginning 4th January to decide whether to continue using the church or revert to the zoom services held through the spring and summer. This decision will be posted on line and the congregation informed by email. Meanwhile the church has rigorous precautions on place to safeguard anyone attending a service.including a robust track and trace system.
